Blind Faith

“For we walk by faith and not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)

I remember a time in my life when I had to trust God without knowing what lies ahead. My mother was sick and had been in the hospital than to rehab. When she came home she still needed ongoing care. I had just started a new job about 6 months prior, and was struggling with what to do but God spoke clearly to me one day while at work and said It’s time to go. Today will be your last day here. I am a provider. Your mother is irreplaceable. So, I typed up my resignation letter that very moment and sent it to my boss. I packed up my desk and personal belongings at the end of the day. I didn’t tell my staff I was leaving and I placed my keys in the overnight drop box and never looked backed.

Did not know how my car payment would be paid how daycare would be paid. How I would keep food on the table. BUT GOD!! I TRUSTED HIM. Blind faith!! Glory to God bills were paid mom was taken care of and I had the peace of God.

If God is calling you to step out in blind faith, then obey Him and do it! Don’t wait for that perfect time. You might be unsure about some of the details, but don’t worry. When we show confidence in God’s call and obey Him, He honors our obedience and will enable us to succeed. He will not let you down. Blind faith is great faith, which leads to a wonderful life of adventures with God. Only He knows who will be blessed by your obedience.
Stepping out in blind faith is a delight to the Lord. Remember, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4* NLT).

Father thank you for giving us faith, that blind faith that carries us through all of it. It carries us through storms, tests, death, being lied and cheated on, being looked over and even sickness. May this blind faith cover us no matter where we are and guide us even when we don’t look or know where we are going. In Jesus name, Amen.
